"Making a schedule" Work contemplates a typical evolution from having low detalied information to achieving a detailed volume of it.
Throughout the project planning process, it becomes necessary to mark key dates, which indicate a total/partial goal of key activities
of the project.

These marks will allow you to highlight attention to partial goals when a user is updating the schedule, or will provide a more
than interesting graphic detail when some other user wants to get involved in making the schedule.

Firstable, UDF´s (User Defined Fields) for Deadlines Dates must be created. In that sense, we select the Menu Enterprise>User

Defined Fields

Note: User Defined Fields= Customs Fields created for each user

From this Window , we can create the follows UDF:

  • Deadline Start ( Start Date Data Type)
  • Deadline Finish ( Finish Date Data Type)

Righ Click on Gantt Chart and Click > Bars

Then, the Gantt Chart Bars settings can be configurated:

Next, we will add a new bar that will contain the flags that we want to identify. Click on

And a new line is created:

For the item <name>, we can identify this group of bars as "Deadlines". Next, for <Timescale> we must select " User Dates" option.

Once "User Dates" is selected in the columns User Start Date and User Finish Date we confirm the selection of the UDF's previously
created (Deadline Start & Deadline Finish).

Next we move in priority this new Bar (Deadlines) until it is below Milestones, this because it does not set relevance on the standard
bars of the Gantt Chart. For this we use the positioning buttons:

Then the graphic characteristics are set, Center Shape " None" must be fixed. Lateral Shapes must be fixed with the icons for
the Flags. We can set a color too, for the Flag in Lateral Colors.

Click on Apply and Ok for commit changes.

In Activities View we can add new columns to visualize , for include the UDF´s ( Start Deadline and Finish Deadline).

From now we can set a Deadlines Spots or Time-Frames bounded with the UDF´s,

Once established, you can be viewed directly in the Gantt Chart:

Finally, you can save this setting in current Layout, or create a new with this feature.
